We have thousands of online books available - free with your library card!

Note: Kindle owners can now download free ebooks from the library's system. To do so, click the logo below for the Maryland Digital eLibrary. For help, see this Amazon page. For a video tutorial from our friends in Allegany County, click here.

There are two types of downloadable books:

• downloadable audiobooks: download them to your computer, then listen to them there or transfer them to an MP3 player or an iPod.
• written e-books: download these to read them on the computer or transfer them to a Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, or other device.
