PT Library Security Officer

The Washington County Free Library has immediate openings for part-time  security guard (15 and 20-hours per week).  We are seeking a responsible, experienced security person(s) to ensure the safety and security of the Library’s building and grounds for use by staff, patrons, and visitors. Duties include (job description is attached): Patrols all areas of Central Library building, parking lots, and access ways, and secures  premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.  Must be flexible. Must be able to pass criminal background check. Shifts may include morning, evenings and weekends.
