Marina Instructions
Marina is an interlibrary loan system which allows you to simultaneously
search several library catalogs for material not available locally and to
request those items.

To Place a request:
Make sure your title is not one of the items that may not be requested.

From any computer at the Washington County Free Library and branches you will
click on the Marina Patron Screen icon.

Enter library card number (without spaces) at the patron ID prompt. Click on
submit input button Click on the Searching/Requesting Button.

Enter search term by author, title, or subject. Click on Begin Searching
button.
At Combined Results Screen: Click on the title to get more
information.

Click on availability

Click on blue Request button to place a request for the title.
At Create Request Screen:

Click on Yes to confirm that your name is correct.

Choose your pick-up location from drop down menu. NOTE: Do not enter anything
into the maximum cost field. Do not enter anything in the E-mail address field.

The Library will contact you by hold notice or by telephone when your item(s)
arrive. Do not enter anything in the Notes field.

Click on the blue submit button. Wait for the Request Confirmation screen.

Record this number. Click on quit to end the session.
If the item you wish to request is not on Marina, please ask
information staff to request it for you through other Interlibrary Loan
sources. If you have any questions, please ask library staff.
