Christiana Drapkin and guitarist Mike Gellar return with the full quintet for more Jazz Standards, romantic fare, and tongue-in-cheek tunes, just in time for Valentine's. We'll call our program "Fools for Love", and, of course, there's no end to that subject matter in song. With Bob Shann on bass, Tim Leahy on trumpet, Bob Willis Jones on drums.

Lecture: Abraham Lincoln & the U. S. Colored Trooops - Re-scheduled to Thurs. Feb. 18 @ 7:00 pm
 Author Bob O’Conner talks about President Lincoln's policies early in the war that were in opposition to using the colored troops and his eventual decision to bring them into service in the Union Army. O'Connor is an award winning author who lives in Charles Town, West Virginia. His most recent book "The U.S. Colored Troops at Andersonville Prison" along with his other books: "The Perfect Steel Trap Harpers Ferry 1859," "The Virginian Who Might Have Saved Lincoln," and "Catesby: Eyewitness to the Civil War" will be available for purchase and signing after the lecture.

Civility Symposium How Rules of Conduct Affect How We Live, Work and Play
 Join the Choose Civility Washington County Task Force for breakfast and keynote address by Dr. P.M. Forni, Johns Hopkins University professor, co-founder of the Johns Hopkins Civility Project, and author of Choosing Civility: The Twenty-Five Rules of Considerate Conduct. His more than 10 years of work in this field has prompted the launch of Civility initiatives in communities around the country.

Maintenance Technician Washington County Free Library is seeking an energetic, sharp, committed candidate to work in our Building Maintenance Dept as a Maintenance Technician, F-T.
Position involves routine tasks in the care and maintenance of the Library, facilities and grounds. Must have initiative and take responsibility, ability to problem-solve, be self-motivated and have computer knowledge. Capable of performing manual tasks. Able to operate cleaning equipment.
