Summer Reading Club sign up begins June 1st at Central, all branches,
and the bookmobile. The Club kick off party will be Friday, June 19th
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Central library, featuring live animals,
games, and crafts.
Club programs throughout the summer will include
an arts and crafts program at Central, entitled “A Palette of Fun with
4H @ Your Library,” and midpoint programs at each branch will
feature Wildlife Adventures, a live animal show.
Summer readers can
earn prizes all summer long by completing reading activities and coming
to library events.
All participants who complete the club by August
14th will receive tickets to that evening’s Summer Reader Night with
the Suns baseball game. All participants are invited to attend our End
of Summer Party at Doub’s Woods Art Pavilion on Saturday, August
15th from 10am – 1pm, featuring live music by Uncle Pete with Kids, crafts, and informal arts
workshops.
