Teens
Teen Loft
The teen loft is a cozy area on the main library’s mezzanine level especially
for young adults (ages 14-19). The space houses our collection of popular teen
fiction, music, magazines, graphic novels, and special interest non-fiction
books. It also doubles as a lounge/study space and features a listening
station.
Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Members of the TAB meet twice a month to suggest programs for high school
students, suggest books and music CDs for the library to purchase, and
generally advise the library on ways to meet the needs of today’s teens.
In addition to helping shape how the library works, teen volunteers can earn
community service hours. Any high school student (ages 14-19) may be part of
the TAB.
Teen Idol Contest
Congratulations, Lawren Hill for becomming Washington County's first Teen Idol.
