 is the haunting true story of a Washington County woman and
tells the story of growing up in the coal mining camps of Appalachia during the
Depression as the daughter of the town prostitute. The author wrote the book as
a deathbed promise to her mother who passed away in 2006. 

was most recently featured at the Miami Book Fair where it
received the Honorable Mention in the Reader's Favorite Book Awards in the
Non-fiction-Memoir category.

Lisa describes herself as a laid back,
Bohemian, 70s rocker chick who loves to write! She is the international
bestselling author of 12 books and an inspirational speaker.  She writes
horror, inspirational, and non-fiction books and under the pen name, Veronica
Moreau, writes sexy rock and roll romance. 

She has been a feature writer and
columnist for her local newspaper for 17 years, has raised Rottweilers for over
18, and she loves to cook, bake, and work in her garden.
