Collection Development Strategist (Head of Collection Management)

The Washington County Free Library is seekings a full-time qualified, data-oriented candidate for the position of Collection Development Strategist. He/she will oversee the WCFL collections and resources and analyzes community and library data to strategically build relevant, well-balanced, and diverse collections.  Candidate will supervise the Collection Management Department; will provide system-wide leadership on collection management.  He/she will also assist with data collection and analysis for various system-wide projects and issues as required.  Must be a leader that embraces change and does not shy away from innovation.  Detail oriented and organized, able to work with competing tasks and priorities, and who has a thorough understanding of data analytics and data visulaization in the context of a public library.  Strong management skills.
