Librarian II - Asst Head of Adult Services

Are you passionate about mentoring employees to be their best?  The Fletcher Branch of the Washington County Free Library is seeking an organized and enthusiastic professional committed to providing strong leadership to a team of dedicated public services information professionals.  The Assistant Head of Adult Services will proactively problem solve, provide support to Adult Services staff, and coach employees to succeed while supporting the Library’s mission and strategic plan.  This position reports directly to and works collaboratively with the Head of Adult Services.

KSA: Computer savvy; able to supervise the work of a library department. Strong attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently. Education and Experience: Master’s degree from an ALA accredited library school.  Two or more years of responsible library experience.  Must be eligible for Maryland Library Certification.
