Multiple Circulation Desk positions (PT )

The Fletcher Branch of the Washington County Free Library is hiring for multiple positions (PT ) Library Assistants I to join our Circulation Department at our downtown location.  Join us in our fast-paced environment; your duties will include assisting patrons/customers with charging, discharging library materials, data entry, shelving books and materials, and other duties as assigned.  Required skills, knowledge and abilities:

 Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public.   Previous library experience preferred but not a requirement.  Candidate must have excellent direct-contact customer services skills; demonstrate interest in libraries; the ability to work individually and with others. Interested candidates must be able to work a schedule that includes evenings, Saturday and Sunday.  Must be flexible and able to become a passport acceptance agent.
