The Fletcher Branch of the Washington County Free Library, YA Dept. has two immediate part-time (20 hours per week) Library Associate openings.  Candidates must provide library service and programming for teens and those who work with teens.   The job involves interaction and collaboration with young adults (typically ages 13-18) including those with diverse backgrounds and abilities. It is essential that the candidates be team minded, creative, teen friendly, and be open to change as new ideas and programs emerge.  This will be an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.  Newly hired associates need to secure Maryland Certification within 24 months of appointment (this is provided by the library).   An application and cover letter must be received not later than 5 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

The work schedule will include evenings and some Saturday or Sunday hours.

Education/Qualification:
