Washington County Free Library invites you to Beyond the Books: Evening with Debbie Macomber. This is a two-part event with tickets available for either or both portions:
Meet & Greet Afternoon Tea: 3 PM
Join Debbie Macomber for a lovely afternoon tea in the Maryland Theatre Ballroom. Sip from a number of specialty teas crafted by the Kate Pearl Tea Room with blends based on Ms. Macomber's books. Get to know a favorite author in this more intimate setting.
The author will visit with readers over scones, sandwiches, and other tea fare from Leiters' Fine Catering.
Beyond the Books Talk & Book Signing: 5 PM
Join Debbie Macomber in the Maryland Theatre's Historic Auditorium to hear about her work, inspiration, writing process, and experience as an internationally acclaimed author. There will be an opportunity for audience questions.We are excited to host Ms. Macomber in downtown Hagerstown for what is sure to be a wonderful evening to kick off the library's author talk series. Please reach out to request an ASL interpreter for the talk.
There will be a book signing and opportunity for photos with Debbie Macomber following her talk! She will sign all books purchased at the event and one book per person brought from home, so bring your favorite title along to be signed!
