Karen Ashbrook (hammered dulcimer, wooden flute, pennywhistle) and Paul Oorts (harpguitar, mandolin, cittern, banjo, musette accordion) joined forces as KA/PO in 1996, musically and soon thereafter matrimonially, creating “wonderfully energetic and exquisitely arranged collaborations” (Washington Post).
