All WCFL bookdrops will be closed as of 12 PM on Thursday, March 26. Please do not leave leave materials outside of library buildings; any damaged or stolen items will be fined to your account. 

All WCFL branches will remain closed to the public with a tentative reopening date of Monday, April 13. We are postponing due dates for materials due from March 13 through April 13 to be due back Monday, May 4.

Our partners at ProQuest are allowing libraries that subscribe to Ancestry Library Edition to offer remote access to patrons from now until June 1, 2020.

Please note, if you wish to use Ancestry Library Edition remotely, you must use the remote link. The normal links to Ancestry Library Edition throughout the website are for inside of the Library and they will not work remotely.

The Ancestry Library Edition collection has approximately 4,000 databases including key collections such as U.S. Federal Census images and indexes from 1790 to 1930; the Map Center containing more than 1,000 historical maps, American Genealogical Biographical Index (over 200 volumes); Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage (over 150 volumes); The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England, 1620-1630; Social Security Death Index (updated monthly); WWI Draft Registration Cards; Federal Slave Narratives; and a strong Civil War Collection.
