Reference Library Associate I

The Fletcher Branch of the Washington County Free Library has immediate opening in our Adult Services Dept.  Rotating schedule, includes some night and weekend hours.  Duties include: providing reference service to the community by filling request for information, offering readers advisory suggestions, proving bibliographic instruction, and assisting the public in the use of library resources, materials, facilities, and equipment; answering a wide range of reference questions by phone, email, and walk-in patrons; and other duties as assigned. KSA: BA; strong computer skills a must, excellent oral and written communication skills; flexibility and initiative.  Previous library experience desired.  Must secure MD Certification within 2 years of appointment.
