Trivia Night, the library’s major annual fundraising event, is being held at the Washington County Free Library Fletcher Branch in downtown Hagerstown on Saturday, April 18, 2020. This year’s event will be inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with themed activities and performers! The evening features a trivia challenge with teams competing for the title ‘WCFL Trivia Champions 2020.’
Your library is a primary component of the educational infrastructure of our community supporting learning at all stages of life and levels of literacy. In response to growing needs in developing ready to learn skills for children entering school, your library offers the First Stop Early Learning Station at the Fletcher Branch in Hagerstown.
As a sponsor, your donations help us to provide additional programs at the library. Last year the library offered over 2,300 programs with over 37,000 people attending one or more of those programs. Whether enjoying one of the many concerts, classes, workshops, children’s story-time and literacy classes, book clubs and other programs, or simply a forum where people could come and sit, talk, and read our citizens place a great deal of importance on the value of a comfortable public library facility where they can gather not only to read but to enjoy a variety of cultural experiences.
We invite you to consider joining our annual fundraiser with one of these great sponsorship opportunities. Please contact us to today to see how you can partner with your library!
