Activities such as:  crafts for kids, video gaming, fandom meet-ups, drawing tutorials, and more.

Artway Alliance artists will offer three workshops; Pokémon Go & Draw (11:30 AM - 12:30 PM) ; Art of Illustration 1:00-2:00 PM); and Character Design (2:30-3:30 PM.)

Visionary Creative Services Co-Founder and CCO C. Edward Sellner has carved a unique career in the comics industry. One of the most popular activities taking place is the annual costume contest. People interested in participating in the costume contest can register the day of the event from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a Cosplay Parade at 3:00 p.m. Contestants will walk down the center staircase of the library so spectators can gather on all levels to watch. Once all participants have reached the bottom level, the winners will be announced and awarded prizes. There will be three age groups: Children ages newborn to 12 years old, Teens ages 13-19, and adults 20 and older.

Today's guests can enjoy shopping at a variety of vendors, attend workshops, visit with artists and authors, and more while at the Fletcher Library. Those attending in costume on Comic Con Day who choose to visit Bulls & Bears Restaurant on S. Potomac St. while in costume can receive a 15% discount and those wearing a Comic Con attendance sticker who visit Pretzel & Pizza Creations at 20 W.
