A Choose Civility Community Conversation

You are invited to the table!
We provide the dinner; you provide the conversation.

Date: Saturday, June 16, 2018 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Address: 100 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740

Save the date for our first Longest Table event. Share a meal and conversation with someone you don’t know*, exchange stories about life in Washington County, and discover both common ground and new ideas. The dialogue starts when you come to the table.

The Longest Table will be held in the 100 block of South Potomac Street in front of the Fletcher branch library. In the event of rain, the event will be moved inside. Free parking will be available in the library parking lot.

This event is also a celebration of our newly re-established Choose Civility Washington County initiative!

TABLE HOSTS NEEDED. Interested in being a Table Host? We will provide conversation starters and an orientation. The goal is to provide each table with a Table Host who will keep guests actively engaged in conversation throughout the evening. Register as a host here.

SPONSORS NEEDED. Interested in being affiliated with this unique event and getting your business or organization’s name in front of an audience? Your support can sponsor a number of tickets to ensure that even more soon-to-be-friends will join us at the table. Contact Sarah Hull at 301-739-3250 ext. 168 or shull@washcolibrary.org.

TICKETS
$15 for adults
$10 for high school and college students

Tickets available through the Chamber of Commerce here.

*To enhance the experience of getting to know different people, guests will not be seated with their companions.
